Plastic Vent Services Ltd provide independant testing and certification of local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems in order to assist many companies and organisations in meeting their obligations under The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH).

COSHH Regulation 7 requires
" that exposure of employees to substances hazardous to health be either prevented or, where that is not reasonably practicable,adequately controlled."
COSHH Regulation 9 requires
"all control measures to be properly maintained, and regular examination and testing of engineering controls, including LEV "

Types of equipment which require regular testing under COSHH legislation include fume cupboards, fume hoods, dust collectors, microbiological safety cabinets, laminar flow cabinets, welding booths and spray painting booths.
